Sprout will defend their title against the likes of Endpoint, DBL PONEY, Anonymo and Winstrike, among others.
The third European Development Championship is set to kick off on April 7 and will run through May 2, with 16 teams fighting for the lion's share of the $30,000 prize pool.
The participating teams will be seeded into four groups of four teams, which will be played in a GSL format starting with best-of-ones matches in the opening round followed by best-of-three series. The top two teams in each group will then advance to the playoffs, a single-elimination best-of-three bracket that will conclude with the grand final on May 2.
Sprout have been handed an invite as last season's champions
Four of the fourteen confirmed teams made it through qualifiers, SINNERS by winning MCR Tour Spring 2021, GameAgents through the Romanian qualifier, and SKADE and DBL PONEY through the tournament's own closed qualifier.
Joining the qualified sides are Sprout, the defending champions, as well as Endpoint, Winstrike, Anonymo, Young Ninjas, TPT, Budapest Five, Trident, 100PG and Sangal, with the final two teams to complete the full roster still to be announced.
